He had been in poor health for a number of years. Mr. Saikor was at one time owner of the Pastime Pool Hall in Canby, moving to Molalla several years ago where he engage in the confectionary busines. He was well known in Clackamas county and was held in high esteem. M.P.Sailor,"Doc" Sailor, as he was commonly known here, was born September 4,1850 at Wabash,Ind., had lived in Oreogn for many years.He was a playmate f James Whitcomb Riley when a boy, and was one of the characters of the famous poem written by Riley, entitled "The Old Swimming Hole". Later he attended the university with Riley and they were classmates. From 870 to 1873 Mr. Sailor was a member of the famous baseball team of Indianapolis.He was rated at one time as one ofthe best billboard players on the Pacific Coast. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge for more than fifty years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace Sailor, and one daughter.Mrs. J.W.Doyle of Los Angelese. Funeral services were held at Molalla yesterday afternoon,Rev.
