Stroke is Fatal To Charles F. Rape
Charles F.Rape,who suffered a stroke of paralysis two weeks ago,died at the 
home of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Peteron early Thursday evening.
Mr.Rape was bornin Springfield,Ill., April 6,1856.he was married in 1884 at 
Nebraska to Sarah C.Gamble,who passed to her eternal rest about eight years 
ago. They came to Canby in 1908 and mr. Rape was engaged in the flour and feed 
business here for a number of years. He was held in high esteem by all his 
acquaintances.He is survived by one son,Albert S.Rape of Portland, and one 
brother,Fletcher E.Rape of Wooburn,
Funeral services were held at the Nazarene church Sunday afternoon,Rev.Geo 
Wicker of Portland cinducting the serrvices.He was assisted by Rev. 
McShane,local pastor.Internment was made in Zion cmetary by the side of his 
wife.
