Death Of Canby Man Ends Long Suffering
Chas.Dedrick Olson,aged 48 years,6 months and 18 days,died at the Salem 
hospital Saturday following an illness of long duration.the funeral was held 
in the Canby Lutheran Church Tueday afternoon and internment was made in the 
Zion cemetary.Rev John Bjerje,pastor of the church conducted the funeral 
services.
Up to about one year ago when he wa staken to the hospital.Chas Olson lived 
with his mother on a farm east of this city and had been a resident of this 
community for many years.he is survived by his aged mother,Mrs.M.Olson,two 
sisters,Hannah Olson and Mrs.P.J.Stenmoe,and one brother,Henry Olson
