Funeral Of Jessie Nelson Brings Crowd Of Friends
The funeral services of the late Jessie Irene Nelson,which were held from the 
Methodist Church here friday ,July 11,was one of the best attended of any ever 
held in this city.Crowds of friends and relatives of the deceased and her 
family came to pay their last respects.the large church was filled to its 
utmost capacity all during the service
Rev.Moore preached a sermon adapted to the occassion from the text found in 2 
Chron.34:3.he spoke of the death of a child with a seemingly brilliant 
future,reviewing Miss nelsons activities in the church and her school life.He 
emphasized the advantages obtained from seeking God in early life.
The choir gave two beautiful selections entitled "Does Jesus Care" and "I came 
to the garden Alone",mrs J.R Vinyard accompanied Mrs Albin Ericksen gave a 
vocal solo"He Knows"
