Former Wilsonville resident is dead
Wilsonville,Feb.9-Word has come to Wilsonville of the death at his home in 
Portland of Henry Miley,a former resident of this place.Mr.Miley located in 
Wislonville upon his arrival in this state from Missouri,something like 40 
year sago,engagin the merchandising business which he continued of ralmost 30 
years,when he removed to oregon City and engage din the harness and shoe 
business,unitl 1908,when he went ot Portland to live.At the time of his 
residence here he owned practically  all the land upon which now stands 
Wilsonville.Beside his wife,Mr Miley is survived by one son,A.H Miley,manager 
of the Burns Detective Agency in Portland,and a daughter,Mrs E.J.Humbert.Mr 
Miley retired from active business two years ago.He was 68 years of age.The 
funeral was held this morning from the Portland Crematorium under the auspices 
of the Masonic Lodge of Oregon City,of which the deceased had been a member 
nearly 40 years
