He is survived by three sons,George of maupin,J.J. of Springfield and Ernest of Portland.His wife and two daughters passed on before him.he is also survived by a number of grandchildren, Mr.Mallet came of a large family there being thirteen children.Six of his brothers,himself and three brothers in law serve din the Civil War at the same time.they all came out of the war alive.
