Prominent Canby Woman Passes Away
Gladys Eleanor Lowry was born in Oregon City,Ore.,March 21st,1902
She is the daughter of mr and Mrs J.W Lowry of this city and had spent much of 
her life in Canby and Oregon City until August 17,1921,when she was untied in 
marriage to Earl D Hutchinson of Canby;since then she has lived with her 
husband in Newberg,Oregon
She died at Oregon City hospital January 12,1922;age 19 years,9 months and 22 
days.Left to mourn her loss besides her husband,Earl D Hutchinson,are her 
parents,Mr and Mrs J.W. Lowry,of Canby,one sister,Mrs Sam Egli,of Canby,and 
four brothers,Aurthur of centralia,Washington,Clyde,Glenn and Virgil of 
Canby,and many relatives and friends who will miss her sadly.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev.W.Boyd Moore,Sunday at 11:30.A 
large concourse of people attended and the burail service was concluded by a 
floral benediction at the grave
The following were pallbearers: Mrs Albert Yoder,Lavina Widdows,Alleta 
Zimmerman,Lolita Hornig,Myrtle Lorens,Laura pennel.=mEdith Samuelson and Agnes 
berg.
