Canby Reident Is Called By Death
John B.Lent,71 years of age,and a resident of Canby for a number of years,died 
at the family home in Canby Tuesday morning following a brief illness.The 
funeral will be held in the Methodist church this afternoon and internment 
will be made in Zion cemetary.
Mr.Lent was born in Des Moines,Iowa,and settled in the west many yers ago.He 
is survived by his widow and five children,Louis,Joe,Fred,and Ralphof 
Canby;and Mrs.Rose Barney of Parma,Idaho.All are here to attend the funeral 
together with his brother and sisters,Joe Lent and Mrs.Mary Moore of 
Middleton;Mrs.Belle Tully of Wllaowa,and Mrs Irvin Lilley of Clayton,Wash.
