Last Respects Paid to Vernie Leach of Canby
Funeral services for Vernie Leach,son of Mr and Mrs Wm Leach,of this city,who 
was accidentally killed in this city,Thursday ,February 7,were held at the 
Methodist Church of Canby ,on Sunday,February 10,at 3 o'clock,W.Boyd 
Moore ,pastor of the church officiating.The S.A Miller UNdertaking Parlor of 
Aurorahas charge of the funeral arrangements.Internment was in the Zion 
cemetary near this city.A large crowd of relatives and friends were present to 
pay their respects to the deceased.
Vernie Leach was born near Aurora,on August 15,1905,and at the time of his 
death was 18 years,five months,and 15 days.
Besides his parent she is survived by the following brothers and sister: 
Verena,Ernest,Ella,Mary,Roy,Edith,Rosetta,and Lester Leach,all of whom reside 
at home
