Resident of Macksberg For fifty Years,Passes
Henry Kummer,a well known resident of Macksberg,where he had made his home for 
50 years,died Friday morning at the Oregon City hospital following a two 
week's illness.
Mr Kummer was born in Switzerland,March 18,1853,and in 1870 came to the UNited 
States.He first resided in Iowa and later came to Oregon,settling in the 
Macksberg country,where he had engaged in farming.
Mr Kummer is survived by his wife,Rosa Krxberger Kummer;a son,Juhn,and two 
daughters,Misses Lydia and Hilda Kummer,all of Macksberg.He was the ast of his 
family.
