The three hunters decided to drag teh animal to a better location before dressing it and Kokel had placed hi gun on the ground. When he picked the weapon up the trigger caught in some bushes, causing the discharges. The body was carried half a mile to the road and Helvey walked secen miles to the Esatern and Western Logging company office, where he telephoned H.N.Everhart,at Molalla, who left immediately with the hers. Due to rough country and poor conditions of the roads it was nearly 11 o'clock today before they returned with the body.
