Obituary Mention of Miss C.Kocher
Christina Kocher was born in Alleghany county,Pa.,in 1842,moving to Missouri 
in 1845 and in 1867 came to Oregon settling near Aurora.
in 1903 she moved to Cnby where she lived unitl 1923,since then making her 
home with a niece,Mrs.Ray Fish,of Mark Prairie.
At an early age she was confirmed to the Lutheran Faith.
Aunt Tena, as she was commonly known to all,is the last of a family of eight 
children,all of whom lived in Oregon from early childhood unitl death,she 
being a resident for 61 years.
She had been failing in hesalth for a week prior to death,which occured 
Sunday,December 23,1928,at the age of 86 years,10 months,24 days.
She leaves to mourn her departure three nieces and five nephews besides a host 
of friends
