All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/or/orfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Sheron Faynor nitwittwin@hotmail.com October 22, 2006, 12:15 pm Sherwood Journal May 14,1914 Large Crowd Attends Funeral of Mrs Jacob Kleger The funeral of Mrs Jacon Kleger which occurred Monday at 11:a.m. from the home was attended by all who knew the lady and who were able to be present.Short services were held at the home of conducted by Rev Ulrich of the German Reformed Church.The floral decoration was beautiful.Fitting song selections were contributed by a Portland Quartette.Many friends of the deceased came out from Porltand to attend the funeral,Internment was made in Stafford cemetary Mrs Klieger was born in Switzerland,August 26,1853 being nearly 61 years old at the time of her death.She is survived by her husband,Jacob Kleger,and four children ,John K Kleger of Marshland,Mrs Susette Raz of Hillsboro,and Andrew and Babette at home.
