Edward W. Hutchinson was born Sept.14,1867. He was married to Lillie Soper at 
Tualitin, Oregon. To this union seven children were born, five of whom 
survive.They are Delbert and Wallace of Corvallis,Ore; Gilbert of Los 
Angeles,Calif;Mrs. Myrtle carey and Ora Chritenson of Los Angeles.
The widow, Lille Hutchinson, one sister,Mrs. John Zeek of Canby, and one 
brother,Wm.Hutchinson of Tacoma,Wash., and ten grandchildren. Mr. Hutchincon 
had lived almost his entire life in and near Canby.He leaves besides his 
family many friends who will miss him.
The funeral services were held Friday, February 14, at Miller funeral parlors 
at Aurora. rev. Mrs. La Valley, pastor of the Spiritual Church of 
Salem,officiated.
Avon jesse and Mrs. La Valley sang "Looking this Way" and "Garden of Life" 
during the service, and "Abide With Me" at the graveside. Pallbearers were 
life long friends of the deceased and were W,C,Kendall, Chas Huiras, Frank 
kendall, Will Bissell, Harry Gilmore, Warren Lee.
Internment was in Zion cemetary
