Oregon City Boy Succumbs To Burns
G.E.Terwilliger,proprietor of the Terwilliger Funeral HOme in Salem,stopped in 
Canby Tuesday and ook lunch at the home of Mr.and Mrs. H.E.Browne.He had been 
to Portland where he took the body of Walter Hichman,ten year old son of 
Mr.and Mrs. E.R.Hitchman,who died in a hospital at Salem,Tuesday morning as a 
reult of burns sustained when the lad either fell or stepped into s vat of 
boiling water at Reedsport.Hitchman was taking the boy ot Portland for 
treatment Monday night when he became too weak from his burns to proceed 
further and he ws taken off at Salem and placed in a hospital ofr treatment.
