Oregon City Boy Succumbs To Burns
G.E.Terwillger,prorietor of the Terwilliger Funeral Home in Salem,stopped in 
Canby Tuesday and took lunch at the home of Mr.and Mrs. H.E.Browne.He had been 
to Portland where he took the body of Walter Hitchamn,ten year old son of 
Mr.and Mrs. E.R.Hitchman,who died in a hospital at Salem Tuesday morning as a 
result of burns sustained when the lad either fell or stepped into a vat of 
boiling water at Reedsport.Hitchman was taking the boy to Portland for 
treatment Monday night when he became too weak from his burns to prceed 
further and he was taken off at Salem and placed in a hospital for treatment.
