Sherwood News Sheet March 13,1912
John Henry
John Henry was born in Kentucky September 20,1848 and died March 6,1912,at the 
age of 63 years,5 months,and 16 days.
Burial of Mr henry took place at the Tualatin cemetary on March 8,1912 M.E 
Buck,undertaker of Sherwood,having charge.Rev J Cowman preached the funeral 
sermon.
mr henry was a christian the best part of his life,having joined the Christain 
church when he was but a small boy,in which organization he left his 
membership till the year 1894,when it was transferred to the Congregational 
church under the pastorate of Rev Wallace Hurlburt.
He was widely known in this section,having taken the census for this precinct 
in the yeatr 1910.
Quite a number from here attended his funeral
