Clackamas County News November 17,1921
Pioneer Of Needy District id Dead
Death came to Albert Hardesty,a well known Oregon Pioneer,at his home last 
Tuesday evening.The deceased had been a sufferer of heart disease for some 
time,which caused the death,but up to his demise he had been in fairly good 
condition as he had made a visit to Molalla on Tuesday morning.
A sister,Mrs Ellen Garrett,with whom Mr Hardesty had resided,found he had 
passed away after he failed to answer her call to breakfast on Wednesday 
morning.O.A Pace,coroner of Oregon City,was summoned,but no inquest was held.
Mr Hardesty was born at Blandensville,Illinois,in 1829
The deceased is survived by his sister,Mrs garrett,and other relatives.among 
them being a brother in law,Marion Samson of Needy,and a nephew,Geroge 
hardesty, a well known local man.
The deceased was laid to rest at Rock Creek cemetary last Friday with Rev 
Tryoer of Zion Church officiating
