Mrs Hardesty has been confined to her bed for over four years,suffering from paralysis. Deceased was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Samson,pioneer residents of oregon,who came from Ohio and settled near Needy when she was seven years of age,where she since made her home.For more than 25 years she engaged as a school teacher of the Clackamas Conuty school,and no teacher in the county was held in higher esteem than she. Mrs Hardesty is survived by her husband,Alber hardesty,of Needy;a sister,Miss Lottie Samson,of Canby,and a brother,Marion Samson,of Yoder Station.She was a siter of the late W.H.Samson,of Oregon City,at one time sheriff of Clackamas Conuty. Funeral Services were held at Rock Creek Cemetary Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock and internment was in the family plot.
