J.Groshong,father of Mrs.Eppers of Donald,died last Thursday morning at the 
home of another daughter at Bremerton,Wash.,where he had been visiting.
Mr.Groshong was a pioneer of this community and would have celebrated  his 
85th birthday next August.Since the death of his wife three years 
ago,Mr.Groshong had divided his time between the two daughters,staying a while 
here and at St.Louis,Bremerton and Salem,usually walking most of the distance 
from one place to another.
Mr.groshong suffere a stroke of paralysis on Sunday and Mrs.Eppers went Monday 
to Bremerton to be at his bedside.
