Floyd Foster
Floyd W. Foster, Rt. 1, Box 523, Estacada, passed away at a Portland hospital 
Friday, Nov 4, 1977 at the age of 73. He was born Aug 25, 1904 in Marble, 
Arkansas. He came to Oregon in 1936 and established himself on a farm in the 
George area. Mr Foster is survived by his wife, Ruby; a son, John C Foster, 
Estacada; a foster son, Orville L Porter, San Francisco; and a daughter, Mary 
e Kiggins, Lower Logan, (Oregon City). In addition, he is survived by two 
brothers; Henry Foster, Forest Grove, and Garland Foster, Yamhill, and two 
sisters, Artie Gumm, Arkansas and Nurvie Armour, California as well as four 
grandchildren. Funeral service were held Monday, Nov 7, 1977 at the George 
Community Church with Pastor Harry Roach officiating. Interment was in the 
George Cemetery. Clayville Funeral Chapel, Estacada, was in charge of 
arrangements.
