Short Illness Is Fatal To Mrs Ellen Dozier
Mrs Ellen M Dozier,wife of James Dozier,well known resident of Canby,died at 
the family home at 3 o'clock,Monday morning,after an illness of several months
Mrs Dozier was born in kentucky in 1860 and came to Oregon with her family 
about 30 years ago,taking up her residence near Needy,where whe made her home 
until about five years ago,then came to Canby ,where she has since resided.
Deceased is survived by her husband,James Dozier,of Canby,and the folloring 
children;George Dozier,of Yodr Station,Clackamas Conuty,John and patrick 
Dozier,Mrs William Leech and Mrs Paul Bany,of Canby.She also leaves thirteen 
grandchildren
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church  Tuesday afternoon at 2 
o'clock,with interment in the Zion cemetary.Rev Boyd Moore,pastor of the 
Methodist church ,officiated.
Holman and Pace undertaking  establishment of Oregon City had charge of the 
funeral arrangements
