Day died at the home of her son Chester G Day at Finley,Wash.,Monday,March 30,1914,aged 70 years,11 monuths,and 8 days.the remains were brought to Tualatin where internment was made Thursday morning,a large number of sorrowing friends attending the funeral Mrs Day was born in St Genevia county,Missouri,April 22,1843,She crossed the plains bu ox team in 1850,locating at Oregon City,where she lived for a number of years and was well known throughout this part of Oregon.
