Macksberg resident Was Buried Yesterday
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon fro the Eerhart funeral parlors 
at Molalla for John Da,,,65,who died Monday afternoon in the icinity of 
Macksberg.Rev. Henry Spiess officiated and internment was made in the I.O.O.F. 
cemetary at Aurora,with the Oddfellows in charge.
He was a antive of Germany,born January 12,1865, and came to this country at 
the age of 13 years,locating in Oregon in 1875.He was married to Caroline 
Gleptler in 1881.
Surviiving are the follwoing children: Mrs.Carl 
Brenner,Turner,Or;Mrs.Wm.Marks,Molalla,Oregon; and Csrl,John,Geo.,William and 
Fred Damm of the Macksberg community.
Mr.Damm also is survived by one brother,William,of Kansas and two 
sisters,Mrs.E.E.Smith of Nebraska, and Mrs. E.E.Shoemaker of Colorado.
