Cummings,one of the early settlers of this community,died at his home in the Riverside district Thursday night following a strok of paralysis. Mr. Cummings had beena resident of this section for many years where he owned and operated a very productive farm until a few years ago when he retired. Mr. Cummings is survived by his widow,Mrs.Myrtle Cummings,two sons, Ben C.Cummings of Canby and George R.Cummings of Hood River, and one daughter,Miss Mary Frances Cummings of Canby.
