Canby Herald Novermber 21,1929
Esther Buss, eleven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Buss, died 
suddenly at the family home east of Canby Thursday after a very short illness. 
She was a student of the Canby Grammar School and had attended school Monday 
of last week.Returning home that evening on the bus she complained of feeling 
unwell. her condition continued to grow worse and Dr.Dedman was called. He 
prnounced a serious case of inflammation of the bone. It seemed that nothing 
could be done.It seemed that nothing could be done for her relief and she 
passed away two days later.
Funeral services were held at the Nazarene church Saturdday,Rev. McShane 
officiating, and internment was in Zion cemetary
