No words have been more deeply impressed upon the writers mind recently than those qouted above.Less than two months ago we had among us Percy Bonk,as he was familiarly known by his many friends, apparently in good health, robust of body and strong of mind, but, alas! today he sleeps in a new made grave in the Tualatin cemetary, where his remains were interred last Sunday. Percy numbered his friends by the score. He was a kind husband,a good father and an ideal neighbor.Always jolly and entertaining with jokes and dialect mimickery,no one could be sad of heart in his presence. Herman P Bonk was born in Germany December 18,1877,coming to the United States with his parents in 1881. He resided in Oregon about ten years.Mr Bonk was married to Miss Ethel Warmelsdorff Feb.4,1906.One child is the result of this union,a son ,Freddie, age five years. Mr Bonk died at Good Samaritan Hospital,Portland, march 20,1014,of Brights Disease, aged 36 years,3 months, and 2 days.he leaves a wife and one son who reside at Mullot, and a father, mother, two brothers, and two sisters who live at Buffalo,Minnesota.-Contributed File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/or/clackamas/obits/b/bonk2275gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/orfiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
