David Arneson Dead As Result Of Burns
The remains of little Daivid Arneson,4 year old son of Mr and mrs Chris 
Arneson,were laid to rest in Zion cemetary on Thursday afternoon following his 
tragic death two days previuos.The funeral was held at bethany church and the 
funeral address was delivered by rev carl Fosmark
While his mother was busy with her washing at the family home,and his eldest 
sister was engaged in another part of the house,the little feloow,it is 
believed,climbed upon a table near which a boiler of hot water had been placed 
after removing it from the stove,and fell head first into the scalding 
water.Startled by his screams Miss Hulda Arneson ran to the rescue and lifted 
her unfortunate little brother out of the water but it was too late.Two 
physicians were summoned to the home immediately and upon arrival a few 
moments later found the child in a semi conciuos condition.he continued to 
grow weaker from the intense suffering and passed away a few hours later.
\The grief stricken family has the sympathy of the entire community and this 
was manifested by the beautiful floral offerings of friends who filles the 
church at the time of the funeral.
Little David Arneson was born in Canby,his parents having moved here shortly 
before his birth
