Such games as "Drop the handkerchief" "Jerusalem" "Ruth and Jacob" "Grunt" anf others were the source of amusement for some, while others were content in merely socializing.the time however, was enjoyed by all A one hundred piece china set was presented to the couple by the guests as a token of their esteem, which was very graciously received. At a late hour a luncheon was served, and all did justice to the repast in a princely manner, Mr ans Mrs Owen have lived in Sherwood for a long time and have a host of friends who were glad to give them the hand in congratulation of their twenty years of devotio, and though Johnny says that it is altogether too long to live with one woman, and expressed his desire to get another, those who are acquainted with him think a reconsideration will take place in his mind and that the twenty years will conitnually be added to,at least this is the hope of their many friends and was the unanimous expression on departing for their homes that evening.
