Canby Herald And Clackamas County News  February 8,1923 February 8, 1923
One of the most delightful surprise parties of the season,given in honor of 
the tenth wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Arthur Graham,of this city,was 
given by members of the Canby Card Club,last Saturday evening,at the home of 
Mr and Mrs Graham,the affair being a complete surprise to the couple.
A unique feature of the party was that each couple were to bring something 
along for Mr and Mrs Graham that represented their line of business,Bairs 
bringin a sack of the famous "Bair" brand spuds,Knights,postage 
stamps;Whites,lubricating oil;Eccles,tablet,pencil and chalk;Sheldons,Epsom 
salts.
The guests brought along "lots and lots" of "eats" which were served at a late 
hour.mr and Mrs Graham were also presented with some very beautiful linen 
napkins by the guests.The guests all departed at a late hour wishing Mr and 
Mrs Graham many more years of wedded bliss.
Those present including Mr and Mrs Graham were: Mr and Mrs Grant White,Mr and 
Mrs Harry Bair,Mr and Mrs Howard Eccles,Mr and Mrs Adam Knight,and Mr and Mrs 
Chas Sheldon
