Canby Herald March 21, 1929
In hoonor of the 60th anniversary on the 8th of March,Mr.and Mrs. John Zeek 
were delightfully surprised with a fine dinner at their home in Canby by the 
following relatives and friends:Mr.and Mrs.Clarence Zeek of 
LaCenet,Wash;Mr.and Mrs.George Zeek of Hubbard;Mr.and Mrs.Elmer Zeek of 
Aurora;Mr.and Mrs.Charles Luelling of Canby;one brother,Mr.Ed Hithinson and 
wife,one niece,Mrs.Hattie Aultman and two little daughters,and an old friend 
of the family,Mrs.Laura Kelland,all of Canby.
The children not being present were Mr.John Zeek,Jr.,of 
Prineville,Oregon,Mr.Arthur Zeel,of Hollywood,California.,Mrs.I.N.Tompson,of 
Roseburg,Oregon,and Mrs.Minnie Phelps,of Canby
