The contract for the Gladstone branch of the East Side electric line has been 
let to John Tyacke,who will begin grading as soon as the weather will 
permit.It was not the intention at first to build the road by contract,but the 
bad weather set H.E.Cross,the builder,back so much with other work that he 
concluded to let it by contract.The work is to be done by May 1,by which time 
he hopes to have the cars running.
