Canby Herald May 29, 1930
After having been in the feed business in this city for eight years C.F.Rape 
has sold his stock to B.M.Randall&Son and the HUbbard Feed Mill,retiring from 
business. He has been closely confined to business pursuits for some time and 
expets to spend the summer visiting different points.He stated,however, that 
he intended to spend the reminder of his life in Canby.
Mr. Rape is seventy four years of ge, and feels that heis unable to do the 
hard lifting attending the pursuits of his favorite vocation.He has been a 
good faithful servant, rendering at all times the best of service and handling 
the best feeds he could produce for his patrons.
