Many friends participate in Pleasant surprise
Last Friday being the 25th anniversary of the marriage of J. Cowman and wife a 
large number of their friends got up a surprise for them in the evening and 
the time was made merry till a late hour. As a token of remembrance for the 
occasion Mr and Mrs Cowman were presented with a silver fruit dish and spoon 
tray.
Games,singing,music and variuos sorts of amusement were indulged in and the 
hour for returning home seemed to come too soon, so well was the time enjoyed.
Those present were: Mr and mrs E. G Hagey,Mr and Mrs J.W Eldridge,mr and mrs A 
Campbell,Mr and Mrs Guy Hayes,Mr and Mrs Frank Lukes,Mr and Mrs fred 
Colfelt,Mr and Mrs F.J Epler, Mr and Mrs J.E Morback,mr and Mrs H Dittman,Dr 
Becker and family,Rev Whitlock and family,Mr and Mrs L W Roellich,mr and Mrs 
W.A Hodges,Mr and Mrs P Fisk,Mr C.O Larson,Mr a Roellich,Mrs J Ownes and 
Misses Eva and Flo Campbell
