Canby Herald March 19, 1925
James K.Gribble,pioneer of Oregon who lives near Aurora,was given a birthday 
party Monday in honor of his eighty first anniversary.
Mr gribble was born in Missouri march 16,1844,and crossed the plains with his 
parents in 1846.The following year the family took up a lanf claim near this 
city and he has since been a resident of this vicinity
