Of these brothers,Walter L.Tooze became the earliest resident of oregon, coming here in 1877,and for 25 years has been active in the politics of the state.he now resides at Fall City,Polk county. Frank F Tooze,a prominent farmer in Sherwood,Oregon, and Chas T Tooze,an attorney of Oregon City, came to oregon in the fall of 1877.David C Stiles Tooze lives at Banfield,Michigan, and is passing the winter in Oregon, with his wife and daughter.he is staying at Oregon City. Professor Fred J Tooze is superintendant of City schools at Oregon City.
